Lemon

Lemon is heavily utilized as a flavoring agent in various forms.

The fruit is ovate and circle with pointed ends.

Its peel is semi-thick, porous and laden with essentials oils.

The flesh is translucent yellow to green and juicy when ripe.

Depending on variety, lemons may contain no seeds or numerous seeds.

Lemons are grown in most tropical cities of Iran, but the most kind of Iranian Lemon is cultivated in Hormozgan Province and Rudan County and in North of Iran.

Lemons are available year-round.
